Spell Bound by Kelley Armstrong

Savannah Levine is in danger. That's not usually a problem. But, caught in the grip of a disturbing and violent murder case, Savannah swore to give up her unique gifts if it would save an innocent young girl. Little did she know that someone - or something - was listening… Now she has no idea how to restore her powers, just when she needs them the most.
In this compelling, fast-paced new thriller, Savannah has to face a host of deadly enemies bent on destroying not only her, but the very fabric of the supernatural world.
As dark forces gather, Savannah isn't just fighting for her life, but for everything and everyone she loves…extract from inside leaf

This book is mostly about Savannah and continues straight from the last book Waking the Witch that also was about Savannah. But in this one we basically get to meet most of the characters from the series and I thought that was brilliant.
Savannah who is an extremely powerful witch has to come to terms with losing her powers at the same time as she is followed by a witch hunter, trying to work out what is going on with the Supernatural group that wants to go public and  battling with her feelings for Adam.

I loved this book as I have loved all of the books from the Women of The Otherworld. There is a lot of action and it had everything I wanted. This book cannot really be recommended as a stand alone book though as there is way to much in it that might be confusing if you have not read at least a few of the previous 11 books. I am already looking forward to the next book.

This book is my very first book in the Where Are You Reading Challenge. It has been extremely difficult to decide where to place the book as they travel constantly.
I ended up deciding on the state of Florida. They are in Miami for a short period of time but just about wherever they were, they kept talking about needing to go to Miami.
If anyone thinks differently, please let me know as I can easily be swayed in this decision.

I read this book in the hardback edition.

This book qualifies for:
100 books in a year Reading Challenge 2012,
Goodreads 2012 Reading Challenge,
2012 witches & Witchcraft Reading Challenge
Where are you Reading Challenge 2012
