A Million More Pages - Hogwarts: I Solemnly Swear I Am Up To No Good!

I Solemnly Swear I Am Up To No Good! hosted by A Million More Pages on Goodreads.

April Slytherin Prefect Challenge: I Solemnly Swear I Am Up To No Good!
April 1, 2015-June 30, 2015

April Fools' Day (sometimes called All Fools' Day) is celebrated every year on the first day of April. Popular since the 19th century, the day is not a national holiday in any country, but it is well known in Canada, Europe, Australia, Brazil and the United States, and it is celebrated as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other. The jokes and their victims are known as "April fools". Hoax stories may be reported by the press and other media on this day and explained on subsequent days. In honor of April Fool's Day, this challenge is dedicated to the most well-known mischief makers of Hogwarts! You will need to complete both tasks for completion points.

Task 1: Pick a mischievous character to spell out using the title of your book, the authors first OR last name (no middle initials), or the series name. You will also need to complete the two tasks under each character you have chosen.

Fred Weasley and George Weasley are identical and mischievous twin wizards born on April Fool's Day. Brilliant pranksters, they co-founded and ran the joke shop Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.

Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans are one of the most popular sweets in the wizarding world. They are the same as Muggle jelly beans, except the range encompasses every flavor imaginable. The inventor of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans was Bertie Bott, who created them in mid-20th century by mistake. He was planning on making tasty sweets from food, but accidentally made one taste like a dirty sock. He immediately recognized the sales potential of "a risk with every mouthful!" There are ordinary flavors like chocolate, peppermint, and marmalade, but also less fanciable ones like spinach, liver, and tripe. There are also flavors that are not actual foods, like grass, farm dirt, vomit, earwax, paper and bogeys.

Task 2: For this task we are using some of Bertie Bott's more "fun" flavors! The color of the jellybean tells you the color of the cover of the book. The cover must create an impression of "the book is that color" not some object on the cover that has to be enlarged to be visible. When you look at the book, you need to think, "that book is red," not "that book has red on it."

You only need to pick one jellybean/color to complete the challenge, but you may do more for extra points once you complete task 1. Each color may be used one time.
