Wind, Sand And Stars by Antoine de Saint-Exupery

From the TWENTIETH CENTURY CLASSICS series, a title, which describes the author's experiences during the 1920s, when he flew for the pioneering airline, Latecoere, which opened up the first mail routes across the Sahara and the Andes. First published in 1939. From Goodreads.

This is one of my husband's favourite books, but clearly not mine. It is interesting enough and has a lot of information about flying and the desert. Unfortunately I found it a bit dry. I do love his book The Little Prince, though.

This book qualifies for:
